Our Story
Banksy is one of the most popular cultural artists and pranksters of our time. Beloved for his captivating, audacious epigrams, he rose to fame in the mid eighties, using unforgettable street art visuals and a wicked sense of humor to protest socio political issues.
Hiding his identity, after more than two decades, Banksy still remains anonymous. As a street artist, he gives "the letters of authenticity" to the graffiti. Recently Banksy was a shadow in the black chaotic, monstrous war in the Ukraine. The masterpiece of all his work is Banksy himself.
As he gained international recognition, Banksy’s graffiti was elevated with more complex humor and advanced stencil techniques. (Not to mention, his maintained anonymity just added to the intrigue). By the early 2000s, Banksy’s unique tags started appearing on walls, streets, and bridges around the world (including war-torn regions) and he was being compared to the all-time great street artists like Jean Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring.
While controversial to some, Banksy continues to be a megaphone of people’s outrage. A genius at marketing his art and capturing the zeitgeist angst of living in today’s world. A vision of liberation and a loud (yet faceless) voice of crude dissent.
The press is owned by a few individuals in the world. Banksy with his street art is the most powerful answer.
“Graffiti is one of the few tools you have if you have nothing. And even if you don’t come up with a picture to cure world poverty you can make someone smile while they're having a piss.” - Banksy
Imagine a piece of his art on your wall in your heart.
